Baked homemade wholemeal tortilla chips

Planning a night in with a great film? These are just what you need! This is a bit of a cheat but far healthier than tucking into a bag of nachos. Just buy a pack of wholemeal wraps from the supermarket and bake them yourself, it’s super easy. Serve with one of our healthy dips and you’ll be set

Wholegrains are a source of fibre and B vitamins, far more nutritious than refined white varieties which have been stripped of their nutrients. If you're gluten free, watch out for ingredients you might not expect like added sugars.

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Cut each tortilla into wedges and arrange in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  3. Coat with olive oil using a pastry brush (or use your hands if you don’t have one!)
  4. Salt or spice as desired and bake for around 10 minutes until golden (you might want to give them a rearrange halfway through so they’re done on both sides)
