Healthy Homemade Chocolate

This recipe combines the antioxidant powers of chocolate with the anti-inflammatory benefits of coconut oil. Cocoa or cacao (it’s raw form) is packed with polyphenols and flavanols, which can help to combat inflammation in the body caused by ‘free radicals’, it is also a source of essential minerals like magnesium and zinc. Coconut oil is a saturated fat that has been linked to many benefits, including a healthy cholesterol profile. Some key vitamins – A, D, E and K are only absorbed by the body in the presence of fats, so try to include a source at every meal. Coconut oil is also very stable at high heats so great for cooking with.
